CPR

If the person is not breathing normally, call 113 and start CPR at once. Give 30 chest compressions in the middle of the chest, about 5–6 cm deep at a rate of 100–120 per minute, then 2 rescue breaths. Continue until help arrives or the person starts breathing. Use a defibrillator as soon as you get one.

Example

A person is unresponsive and not breathing normally.

Call 113 on speaker, start 30 compressions and 2 breaths, and ask someone to fetch a defibrillator.

If you cannot give breaths, give compressions only. That is far better than nothing.
